Eco Adventure Options - Learning Experiences with EARTH CoLab

‘Place’, ‘Experience’ and ‘Interconnectivity’ are at the centre this pedagogy, this program is designed to highlight nodes at which disciplines intersect.

We combine the science and art of sailing with action, the environment and your curricular goals.

Using a combination of physical activities, challenges, critical thinking, project based application and theory of knowledge, these learning experiences transform every ecosystem and activity into a living and interactive laboratory and studio.

Each Eco-Adventure with us is a journey of discovery, problem solving, physics, marine ecology, design and water based skills development.

Bespoke Eco Adventures

Each programme is tailored and adapted to your specific goals. We work with teachers and students to deliver an outcome based on curricular requirements.

These adventures are designed to guide participants beyond the comfort zone and venture into the ‘learning zone’.

The immersion into the local, social and environmental context, creates an ideal medium to activate all senses and maximize each student’s engagement while allowing for individual inquiry.

The combination of Sailing and Coastal Ecology gives us a dynamic platform to engage youth through ‘Creativity, Activity and Service’.

Each location has been selected and developed keeping in mind access, safety, the environment and learning goals.
